Iran preparing for self-defense
Iranian authorities threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz- the world's most important oil shipping lane - if they feel that the country's security is jeopardized.
"If the U.S. attacks Iranian nuclear objects, we shall respond adequately," Russian news agency Interfax quoted Iranian Ambassador to Russia Mahmoud Reza Sajjadi as saying.
"In this way, the U.S., specifically the Democratic Party, wants to hide their mistakes and failures. If necessary, we shall resort to self-defense," he said.
