Romanians have been holding a protest for the past five days with the demand for President Trayan Besesky's resignation.

Romanians compare him with the previous President Nikolay Chaushesku and have declared that both of them "polluted the country and turned it into a country of corruption and poverty".

The wave of protest in Bucharest is also due to the incessant growth of unemployment and the 25% reduction of salaries.

As they say, the Romanian government added salt to the wound after it reduced the number of state medical institutions and called it healthcare reforms and replaced them with private institutions. The Romanian Minister of Health had expressed his disagreement through resignation.

The wave of protest is spreading across Romania's large cities. Demonstrators are organizing protests in Kluzh, Jass, Timishoara and Konstantsa. All demonstrators demand President Trayan Besesky's resignation and snap parliamentary elections.

There have been clashes between the police and demonstrators in all cities. The police have used bludgeons to disperse the crowds and have arrested more than a hundred people, reports Vesti Ru.
