No bathrooms in trains either?
The South-Caucasus Railways CJSC lacks simple communal accommodations in the Yerevan-Gyumri trains.
Resident of the Yerazgavors village of Shirak province Melikset Gaboyan takes the train often and told "A1+" that there is not even any heating in the wagons.
"We take a three-and-a-half hour trip, but there are no bathrooms. The wagons are in very poor condition," Gaboyan said.
However, Head of Passenger Transfers of South-Caucasus Railways Gagik Movsisyan told "A1+" that there are bathrooms in both trains.
"There are one or two cases when there is a need to renovate one of the trains and we have to replace that train with another that lacks bathrooms, but the trains have communal accommodations 99 percent of the time," the head of passenger transfers assured.
