Three candidates running for mayoral race
January 13 was the deadline for submitting applications to run for mayor in Hrazdan city.
There are three candidates for the post - acting mayor, Republican party member Aram Danielyan, his advisor Hovhannes Prtavyan and former mayor of Hrazdan, member of the opposition Armenian National Congress, Karabakh war veteran Sasun Mikaelyan.
By law, registration of candidates will continue till January 18.
Speaking about Hovhannes Prtavyan's intention to participate in the election race, Sasun Mikaelyan said, "Probably, he put his candidacy as he wants to give advice."
Mayoral elections in are set for February 12.
