Charles Aznavour hands over certificates of gratitude
On January 10, the Armenian Embassy in Switzerland hosted a ceremony during which certificates of gratitude were handed to a number of representatives of Swiss Armenian community and Armenian organizations.
Armenian Ambassador to Switzerland Charles Aznavour handed the certificates of gratitude of the Armenian Ministry of Culture to the Topalian Foundation, renowned Swiss Armenian conductor Luc Baghdassarian, composer Sirvard Ghazanchyan, poet and expert of Armenian studies Vahe Godel.
Certificates of gratitude of the Armenian Ministry of Education and Science were handed to Nevrik Azadian, Director of the Topalian School, Director of the Geneva University Center for Armenian Studies Valentina Calzolari-Bouvier and teacher at the Topalian School Seda Khachatryan.
During the event, Ambassador Charles Aznavour expressed gratitude to the awardees for their contribution to the preservation of the Armenian culture and national identity, noting that the certificates of gratitude handed on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Armenian's independence are symbolic and are a demonstration of appreciation of their devoted activity.
