Ambassador couple at the MFA
The newly appointed Ambassadors of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia Jonathan James Eives and Catherine Jane Lich presented the copies of their credentials to RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan.
Ambassadors Eives and Lich expressed gratitude for the good wishes and mentioned that they would do everything possible to promote the strengthening and deepening of Armenian-British relations during their term in office.
During the meeting, Minister Nalbandyan voiced hope that the development of relations between the Republic of Armenia and the United Kingdom would be ongoing and that the development would reflect the activation of political dialogue, as well as the expansion of the juridical-contractual field and the relations in trade, economy and culture.
The Foreign Minister and the UK Ambassadors also touched upon the Armenia-EU partnership within the framework of the Eastern Partnership.
Edward Nalbandyan, Jonathan James Eives and Catherine Jane Lich discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest.
