Head dismissed to go on vacation?
"Norayr Muradkhanyan wasn't dismissed for poor work. This is simply a cadre change. Muradkhanyan is still in the cadre reserve and is considered a state official," Head of the Department of Media and Public Relations of the RA Police Ashot Aharonyan said in response to "A1+"'s question as to why Head of the Department of Passports and Visas Norayr Muradkhanyan was dismissed from office.
When asked whether he had been offered a new position, Aharonyan said even though he still hadn't been offered one yet, there would be an offer after a while.
In an interview with "A1+", Norayr Muradkhanyan said he was surprised by the Police Chief's decree, but didn't wish to comment. When asked what he was planning on doing, he said he would be spending a vacation since he hadn't been on vacation for the past 17 years.
We remind that Norayr Muradkhanyan's predecessor was Alvina Zakaryan, who was dismissed from office due to the revelation of numerous flaws and issues.
