MES holds first consultation

Armenia's Ministry of Emergency Situations today hosted the first consultation for 2012. The meeting was chaired by Minister Armen Yeritsyan.

The participants discussed a range of issues, including the priorities of the Ministry. Heads of services and departments were instructed to optimize services and efficiently use internal capacity.

The Minister was informed that during the holidays 120 incidents were reported across the country which received operative and effective response, besides checkups were carried out at firefighting brigades.

The emphasized the need for enhancing the 911 services, the Ministry's press service reported.
