Prime Minister: "2011 marked a breakthrough "
Armenia's Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received the newly appointed Head of the EU delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Traian Hristea.
The head of the Armenian government congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to this position. "We are interested in developing relations with the European Union. 2011 marked a breakthrough in this regard. We managed to surpass the indices envisaged by our National Program," the Prime Minister said.
For his turn, Ambassador Hristea said the EU is interested in deepening the relations with Armenia, contributing to the reforms implemented in our country."
The interlocutors touched upon the start of the negotiations on the creation of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, the facilitation of the visa regime, other issues of bilateral interest.
