Transportation hours for the New Year
To properly organize transportation in Yerevan during the holidays, Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan has ordered to extend the hours of the metro and public transportation on 31 December 2011 and set 2:00 as the hour for the end of transportation on January 1, 2012.
On 1-8 January 2012, the last hour of public transportation in Yerevan will be at 24:00.
There will be daily public transportation starting on 9 January 2012.
By the mayor's order, public transportation companies will be on duty from 18:00 on 30 December 2011 to 9:00 on 9 January 2012, reports the Department of Information and Public Relations at Yerevan Municipality.
