First Ambassador of Kuwait arrives
The newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Armenia Bassam Muhammad Alqabandi today presented his credentials to Serzh Sargsyan.
Serzh Sargsyan congratulated the newly appointed Ambassador on assuming office and underlined that since the declaration of independence, Armenia has attached great importance to the development of relations with the Arabic Gulf countries. According to Sargsyan, the establishment of an Armenian Embassy in Kuwait and a Kuwaiti Embassy in Armenia show the mutual desire of both countries to deepen the relations in all directions.
Bassam Muhammad Alqabandi mentioned that, as the first Ambassador of Kuwait to Armenia, he had been assigned by his country's leadership to make efforts to develop relations with Armenia in all directions.
The RA presidential press office reports: "The interlocutors attached importance to the strengthening of inter-parliamentary relations and active cooperation within international organizations, as well as the close collaboration between both countries in economy, culture and other spheres."
