Russia refuses to help the Syrians
"If we are demanded to shut an eye to the actions of the opposition and separatists and are expected not to supply the National Authorities with weapons, that demand will not be fulfilled," Permanenent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vitali Churkin declared.
According to the "Moskovsky Comsomolets", during the discussion on Russia's modified version of the resolution on Syria, German representative of the UN Security Council Peter Witing Churkin expressed his concern about the inadequate approach to necessary actions for preventing the assaults that are on the rise in the country.
"We know what embargo is. We've seen it in Lebanon. It is when you can't provide the government with arms and instead, anyone can provide that to the opposition groupings."
