Women of Armenian pilots who died in Iran, disabled pilots, owners of lands in the Dalma Gardens and the mothers of soldiers who died in peace held a protest near the government building today.

The families of 5 Armenian pilots who died in the plane crash in Iran in 2001 were demanding the sum that their children should have received from the local bodies by law.

"Our children haven't received their sums for the past 49 months. I have four children, meaning each of them has to receive 45,000 drams. We have been writing to Serzh Sargsyan for 31 months. Serzh Sargsyan sends our letters to the Prime Minister, the latter sends them to the Civil Aviation, and then we are told to wait. But why should we wait?" widow Larisa Ohanyan told "A1+".

The families of the deceased pilots promised that if their issue wasn't solved, they would hold a demonstration in front of Serzh Sargsyan's residence tomorrow.

A group of disabled pilots were also demanding compensation from the government.

The mothers of soldiers who died in peace were holding their protest silently without any screams. After a long struggle, they lost hope.

"I have come to say that it turns out that there is no honest, decent person in government to raise concerns about these murders. Perhaps they haven't had enough of this bloodshed," Hasmik Hovhannisyan, mother of officer Artak Nazaryan who died in peace, told "A1+".
