Ishkhan Zakaryan in Holland
During the working visit to the Netherlands, Chairman of the RA Control Chamber Ishkhan Zakaryan had a meeting with Co-Chairi of the Register Court Council of the Netherlands Geridde Yong.
Expressing gratitude to the Dutch side for the invitation and the willingness, Ishkhan Zakaryan mentioned that importance was attached to cooperation with the Netherlands on the sidelines of the cooperation with Europe. Ishkhan Zakaryan also informed that the Control Chamber had presented nearly 40 proposals for legislative reforms within the past two years.
During the visit, the new proposals and joint working plans for showing technical support to the RA Control Chamber on the part of the Register Court of the Netherlands in 2012-13 were discussed.
To help the Higher Control Bodies meet international standards, the Dutch experts will assess the RA legislation and the methodology related to the Control Chamber, and the Chamber's infrastructures will be improved with the purpose of reinforcing information technologies.
Through the cooperation between the higher control chambers of both countries, in 2012-13 the Dutch side will continue providing new computer equipment, will provide servivce for the Control Chamber's website at coc.am and the e-mail addressees and will provide funding for the translation of the website into English and Russian.
As a step in the control of Armenia and the Netherlands, the countries will implement joint control of environmental protection, which will continue in the taxing and customs spheres in 2013.
The press service of the RA Control Chamber informs that Chairman Ishkhan Zakaryan will leave from the Netherlands for Moscow where he will have a meeting with Chairman of the Russian Register Chamber Sergey Stepashin.
