Serzh Sargsyan receives Caroline Cox and the Chinese
Serzh Sargsyan today received member of the Lords Chamber of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Baroness Caroline Cox, founding president of the Chinese Global Group, Dr. Johnny Hon and vice-president Keith Benet at the request of the Baroness. The Chinese Global Group is a venture capital company implementing investment programs in different countries and is also interested in making investments in Armenia's economy as well.
During the meeting, Baroness Cox mentioend that she continues to do her best to support Armenia and would be pleased to see this Chinese company make investments in certain perspective spheres of Armenia's economy.
Serzh Sargsyan wlecomed the initiative and mentioned that Armenia's government agencies were ready to discuss and support the investment programs of the Chinese Global Group.
The interlocutors particularly touched upon investments in high technologies and the mining industry.
Serzh Sargsyan talked with content about the high-level Armenian-Chinese relations and underlined that several Chinese companies are already implementing activities in the Armenian market by participating in certain projects and that he would be pleased to see the Chinese Global Group among those companies.
