An official dinner was served at Napoleon Hall of Correr Museum in Venice last evening on behalf of Serzh Sargsyan. According to the presidential press service, among participants were Armenologists who had arrived from different countries to participate in the opening of the exhibition "Armenia: Stamps of Civilization" and the representatives of local authorities.

In his speech, Serzh Sargsyan mentioned: "Today, we must correspond to the high standards that our printers Hakob Meghapart and Voskan Yerevantsi set for our nation. We have no right to deviate. As the example of printing and many other examples show, the Armenian nation has been the one paving the way, the one shedding the light and the locomotive for advancement, and we will not deviate from that course," he continued.

Yerevan has been declared the 12th World Book Capital by UNESCO. On that occasion, Serzh Sargsyan invited everyone from Venice, as well as other Italian cities and states and all the gathered to participate in the events to be held within the framework of that.
