Secretary of the National Security Council Artur Baghdasaryan received experts of the European Investment Bank led by head of the delegation Gorgia Kutsiana.
During the meeting, issues related to the implementation of the program for modernization of the Bagratashen, Gogavan and Bavra northern passing points of the Republic of Armenia were discussed. The program will be co-funded by the European Investment Bank.
During the meeting, Artur Baghdasaryan mentioned that two important stages, that is, the assigning of technical equipment and the development of necessary construction plan, were held this year. In early 2012 there will be an international contest and the selected construction firm will replenish the three passing points with technical and construction equipment in accordance with the modern demands of the EU "Yellow Book".
During the meeting, issues related to the implementation of the program were discussed and specified and an agreement was reached on formulating the documents in this stage as soon as possible in accordance to the itinerary that has already been set, reports the press service of the National Security Council.
