If today, will PAP win?
Politologist Stepan Grigoryan claims that the Prosperous Armenia Party will win and that it had announced that the main competition wouldn't be between the government and the opposition, but within the government.
"If parliamentary elections were held today, the PAP would be in first place. The PAP's rating is on the rise, and that is a fact," he said.
According to him, the competition between the Prosperous Armenia Party and the Republican Party of Armenia will establish democracy in Armenia.
The politologist also notes that governments in any country always have the resources to falsify elections, but no reasonable government will take that step in Armenia today.
"Armenia doesn't have enough resources, but it does have an aggressive country like Azerbaijan that is ready to solve the Karabakh conflict through force. The only way for Armenia to develop is to hold free and fair elections and increase the level of democracy in the country, which will ensure competition in the region," he said.
