Buildings in Yerevan should be fortified
During its session in government, the Science and Technology Council gave consent to the proposals for the application of seismic isolation in buildings that are being built, restored and fortified in Armenia.
Prime Minister Sargsyan assigned to create a task force under the leadership of the RA Minister of Urbanization that will present the measures for the use of the mentioned systems and the list of tall buildings in Yerevan where such work is necessary.
The issue of preparing experts specializing in "Seismic Isolation of Buildings and Structures" at universities was also discussed.
According to the Department of Information and Public Relations of the RA Government, the Council touched upon the automatization of agriculture in Armenia and the development of a strategic plan for key issues related to automobile construction and proposed to develop the strategic plan, as well as the measures aimed at developing automatization and the sphere of automobile construction.
