Emigrating because they don’t want to work?
It turns out that citizens of Armenia aren't emigrating because there is lack of jobs in Armenia, but because they don't want to work. This is what President of Elite organization Adam Nikoyan says.
The organization helps the unemployed find jobs and receives three to four appeals a day. The president says the organization finds jobs for everyone and it simply depends on what kind of job the applicants expect.
"Applicants avoid doing work by their profession and want to work in the sphere of service more. They avoid responsibility and earn more money."
The organization's executive director Liana Khachatryan added that 90 percent of employers continue to demand "up to 35 years old, good-looking workers with long legs and short skirts".
The organization representatives claim that up-to 35-year olds can also find jobs, even though there are limits on their chances of being selected.
They say it should be mentioned that boys are mainly unemployed since they are whimsical and mainly wantn to work as drivers or security officials.
Liana Khachatryan also notices that the employers are the ones mainly demanding specialists and that is conditioned by the mentality of making people work for free. Accordin gto Liana Khachatryan, the employers make the person work for free, then explain to them that they don't meet the requirements, dismiss them and accept other workers.
The organization's representatives warn job seekers to not pay any money or appeal to agencies that don't offer jobs at that moment.
