Armenian police officers didn't allow 20 Armenian citizens to approach the Russian Embassy and hold a protest there on International Human Rights Day.

The police officers, which in number were equivalent to the number of participants of the action called "Free Citizens for Free Citizens", explained that the protest would impede the embassy's activities.

Even though today is a non-working day at the embassy, police officers made the demonstrators cross the street and present their demands there. However, they promised that they would hand any letter to the embassy.

Among the demonstrators are lawyers, publicists and students.

The participants of the action held without any screamas express their indignation with "Russia's policy on throwing supporters of democratic processes in jails".
