HHK ready to negotiation with BHK
The Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) cannot be blamed for Prosperous Armenia's failure to become affiliated with the European People's Party (EPP), HHK MP Mkrtich Minasyan said on Friday.
"The HHK could not talk 39 countries out of accessing the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) in their ranks, since the HHK is not a member of the EPP," said Minasyan.
At the same time, the HHK MP does not rule out that the BHK may become EPP member in February 2012.
Asked whether the HHK and BHK might run in the 2012 parliamentary elections on a joint ticket, Minasyan said the issue had not been discussed by his party.
"Our doors are open and we are ready to continue talks over cooperation," said Minasyan.
