Gurgen Arsenyan: "HHK will rig elections"
The Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) will gain fewer votes than expected in the upcoming parliamentary elections, according to Chairman of United Labour Party (MAK) Gurgen Arsenyan.
"The key actors of the elections - voters - are displeased with the country's current policy," Arsenyan told journalists on Wednesday.
According to the MAK leader, the recent reshuffles in the presidential administration, which aim to secure HHK's victory in the elections, have not improved the quality of life or increased the level of freedoms.
Arsenyan is not going to run in the elections on the HHK list even if the party makes such a proposal. He sees himself in the ‘bourgeois-democratic atmosphere' beside the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) and hopes they will be able to garner more votes.
