Armenia, French agree to deepen collaboration
As part of a working visit to France, Secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia, Artur Baghdasaryan, met with French Secretary General for National Defence Francis Delon.
The parties stressed that the Armenian-French friendship is the basis for greater collaboration and agreed to deepen cooperation in security and defense sectors.
On the sidelines of his visit, Artur Baghdasaryan also had a meeting with French Minister of State for Transport Thierry Mariani and Patrick Devedjian, Chairman of Hauts-de-Seine Department Council to discuss issues related to the further deepening of Armenian-French relations.
Armenia's NSC Secretary also met with Anne-Marie Descotes, Director of the Agency for French Teaching Abroad. In addition to future deepening of cooperation in the education sphere, the parties also discussed possibilities of opening a French lyceum in Armenia.
They agreed that the establishment of French educational institutions in Armenia would play a key role in the development of the education system.
