Calls on Sharmazanov to drop nomination
The National Assembly is currently voting for the NA vice-chairman. The two candidates are Republican MP Eduard Sharmazanov and member of "Heritage" faction Armen Martirosyan.
In defense of the candidates that they have nominated, the deputies of the Republican Party of Armenia and "Heritage" presented the extensive biographies of the candidates (Martirosyan is 38 years old, Sharmazanov is 36-ed.).
"Heritage" representative Stepan Safaryan called on Eduard Sharmazanov to drop his nomination and added Garegin Nzhdeh's words: "Be an idealist. If a person is not an idealist, he is a machine, throat and stomach".
We remind that the office of NA vice-chairman was left vacant after Republican MP Samvel Nikoyan was elected parliamentary speaker today.
