Thinks economic growth can be suppressed
NA factions have presented more than 500 proposals for the 2012 state budget, of which 135 have been fully or partially approved. Only one out of the 152 proposals presented by "Heritage" faction was approved, and this made the party's MPs discontent.
"We have been proposing to allocate sums for partial restoration of the building of the Gyumri State Pedagogical College State Non-Commercial Organization for years and it has continuously been denied," Stepan Safaryan recalled.
Minister of Finance Vache Gabrielyan declared that "Heritage" faction presents "very big proposals that reach the trillion dram mark".
"If we take a look at the increase of revenues, we shouldn't hurt the economy and the business environment, or else the economy will be suppressed."
Gabrielyan added that sums are allocated for this or that project according to priorities, and "they are the priorities of the political majority".
The discussions on the state budget ended, and the deputies of other factions didn't express discontent. The country's most important economic document will be put up for a vote during the National Assembly's ensuing session tomorrow.
