Leader of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Union Vahram Mkrtchyan compares Armenia with a large storage room where there is everything, but nothing is in order because the storage owner hasn't classified anything correctly. "As if that's not enough, there are a lot of mice and rats in that storage that are multiplying in number."

The leader received warm rounds of applause for this statement during the congress devoted to the 10th anniversary of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Union held at the large sessions hall of the RA Government.

Vahram Mkrtchyan expressed special gratitude to founding members of the ADLU party Seyran Avagyan, Arshak Sadoyan, Vazgen Manukyan and Shavarsh Kocharyan, but only Seyran Avagyan and Arshak Sadoyan had shown up.

Touching upon RA First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan's past and present, Vahram Mkrtchyan mentioned: "Whereas people weren't allowed to enter the National Assembly, to assume responsibility, were caught, sentenced and robbed of their businesses, now the logic has changed. They don't kill, or they kill without wanting to."

As far as the ruling coalition is concerned, Mkrtchyan considers it "phony and not factually existing", referring to the "cold war for positions between the Republican Party of Armenia and the Prosperous Armenia Party".

According to Mkrtchyan, the political field has currently turned into the monopoly of three presidents. "Contrary to that, especially the extra-parliamentary forces should form groupings with the same ideology and turn the 2012 parliamentary elections into a struggle of ideas and opportunities," Vahram Mkrtchyan mentioned as he referred to the representatives of political parties in the hall.

Permanent representative of the RA President to the National Assembly Garnik Isagulyan declared that the ADLU is the only party that is able to express its sincere concerns about many issues, while many political parties are simply afraid.
