Seyran Ohanyan visits disabled soldier’s home
In light of International Day of Disabled Persons on December 3, RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan and the leaders of the Armed Forces visited disabled freedom fighters of the Artsakh war, learned about their problems, held talks and gave them gifts.
Seyran Ohanyan visited disabled soldier of the first group Apet Aghababyan, who was severely injured in the NKR Martakert region in February 1993 and had had his leg cut off.
During a warm conversation, the Minister of Defense got acquainted with the freedom fighter's past and his current social issues. Seyran Ohanyan expressed gratitude to Apet Aghababyan for his contribution to the Artsakh liberation struggle and encouraged the freedom fighter: "A person has to be spiritually healthy, and the most important thing is that he is not spiritually disabled. It is that spirit that keeps our friends-in-combat injured from the war strong."
