U.S. Ambassador opens job fair in Armenia
U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern opened on Friday a job fair at the Congress Hotel in Yerevan. The fair was organized by the Alumni Association of Armenia (USAAA) in an attempt to match Armenian alumni of U.S. exchange programs with potential employers.
Ambassador Heffern welcomed the job-seekers and representatives of 30 companies seeking highly qualified applicants for jobs and internships. Ameria Bank, ArmNews, Ashtarak Kat, the Central Bank, the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, Congress Hotel, Nairi Insurance, and Orange Armenia were among the participating organizations.
The USAAA was established in February 2010 and is supported by the U.S. Embassy. The Association unites participants of educational and professional exchange programs to the United States of America.
