Will Russian flag guarantee Armenia's security?
"Coalition parties should become opposition since they are defamed in the eyes of society," New Times Party (NZhK) Leader Aram Karapetyan said when commenting on the disagreement between the coalition forces Republican Party of Armenia and Prosperous Armenia Party.
NZhK is for Armenia's engagement in the Eurasian Economic Union established between Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan. He explained the need for integration by recalling Armenia's economic achievements in the USSR.
Then he reminded his opponents that Armenia will have no one to turn but the Russian military base if the country's security is jeopardized.
The NZhK today decided to run in the upcoming parliamentary election in a separate list and to name its candidate for the presidential election.
