Famous Czech animator passes away
Czech painter, animator Zdenek Miller has passed away. Miller was known for his charming mole created in 1957, and the cartoons are remembered to this day.
The 90-year old creator of children's favorite cartoons passed away at Novee Vsi Sanitary in the Czech Republic.
The first series of the cartoon "How the Mole got Pants with Large Pockets" was shown half a century ago. When asked why he chose that character, Miller had responded: "Walt Disney used the examples of almost all types of animals in animation besides the mole, and I chose the mole."
