Azerbaijani FF helps veterans
The executive committee of the Azerbaijani Football Federation has added six members to the list of veteran football players and is preparing to provide them with individual pensions.
As posted on the Federation's official website, the executive committee will discuss the issue of including another two veterans during the next session.
"Unlike the Azerbaijani, Armenian veteran football players don't receive pensions from the Armenian Football Federation," football veteran, President of the Union of Football Players of Armenia Sergey Poghosyan told "A1+".
"Only football players of the former Soviet team receive pensions from the government, but the rest don't have such a privilege. It would be nice, if the FFA set individual pensions for elder football players. Most of them are unemployed, and some are in very poor social condition."
