Serzh Sargsyan was entrusted with serious mission
"We shall not keep silent" youth initiative has named Javakh-based Armenian activist Vahagn Chakhalyan as the Man of the Month ‘for preserving the spirit of struggle even in custody.'
"Chakhalyan turned 30 on November 28, 2011. He has spent about three years in prison. He was arrested in 2009 and sentenced to 10 years in prison on trumped-up charges. In fact, he was arrested for his political views," the initiative said in a statement condemning Serzh Sargsyan for not raising the issue during his meeting with Georgian authorities.
