Sharmazanov wouldn’t mind
On December 1 or 2, the Republican Party of Armenia will discuss the nomination of Eduard Sharmazanov as vice-speaker of the National Assembly during the party's executive or council session. Sharmazanov assures that such an issue has not been discussed, and if it is discussed, he says that "he has been a duteous partisan".
Vice-speaker of the National Assembly Samvel Nikoyan has been holding the office of NA chairman after Hovik Abrahamyan's resignation, while his set has remained vacant. Eduard Sharmazanov assures that it has been a great honor for him to be the spokesman of the Republican Party of Armenia. "It doesn't matter what kind of parliamentary office I hold. I am ready to fulfill activities with honor and responsibility again," Sharmazanov mentioned.
Who will be the next spokesman of the Republican Party of Armenia?
"I don't know if I will be elected or not, or if there is such an issue, but I still picture myself as the party's spokesman for a long time," Sharmazanov said.
