Cross border by foot
On November 29, the OSCE held another monitoring near Kayan village on the Ijevan-Kazakh sector of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border zone. Participating from the Armenian sector were Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Anjey Kasprzik, Coordinator of the Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Imre Palatinus, field assistants Kristo Kristov and Marius Puodzinus. During the monitoring, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in Armenia crossed the Armenian-Azerbaijani borderline.
During a briefing held at Tavush regional council before the monitoring, issues related to the state on the Armenian-Azerbaijani line of contact, the ceasefire violations and the Azerbaijani snipers' actions were discussed.
The monitoring was held without any incidents.
