The border will always be in a troubled state as long as the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict remains unresolved. This is what Serzh Sargsyan told journalists during his working visit to Gegharkunik province.

"But we wouldn't like to see that troubled state become a reason for murders. You are aware that Armenia suffered the loss of two soldiers in the last two days, and the Azerbaijani authorities are completely to blame for the death of those two soldiers. The Azerbaijani authorities are also the ones responsible for future losses of their army. A soldier's life is very precious for Armenia. Whereas Azerbaijan doesn't appreciate a soldier's life, our soldiers' lives are truly very costly for us. The Azerbaijani should remember all this well. I think this troubled state will be mitigated as time goes by," he said.
