Armenian delegates packed their bags
The Armenian delegation has managed to abort the ensuing session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation to be held in Albania on November 21-24. The delegation did this because Albania had invited Kosovo and had given it the right to speak.
"Kosovo is not a member of the Assembly and the rules and regulation prohibit inviting any non-member state and giving it a voice. The majority of the Assembly-member states haven't recognized Kosovo. Our logical explanations were clear to everyone and we were joined by 11 of the Assembly-member countries," member of the Armenian delegation Vardan Bostanjyan told "A1+". Besides Bostanjyan, Republican MPs Gagik Minasyan and Areg Ghukasyan are also representing the Armenian delegation to the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.
According to Vardan Bostanjyan, the issues on the Assembly's agenda are not as important for the Armenian side as much as prevention of violation of the Assembly's rules and regulations on the part of Albania. "The Albanian side remained persistent, and that is why we packed up our bags and left the next day."
