RA Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan has given prosecutors of provinces and communities a clear instruction.
They will immediately change imprisonment as a precautionary measure, will terminate investigation and criminal persecution against culprit army recruits that will voluntarily show up to the police headquarters or the military registration office and express the desire to serve in the RA Armed Forces.
There will be no criminal persecution against those who express the desire to leave for other sites for alternative employment aaccording to the order prescribed by the RA law "On Alternative Service".
The RA Prosecutor General's Office has appealed to the army recruits under persecution to take advantage of this opportunity, fulfill the constitutional duty to the people and the homeland and relieve themselves of the status of being a persecuted culprit.
