Russian navy ships are at the seas in Syria, reports Reuters agency. The source informs that the current events in the "revolutionary" Syria are putting the country at risk and turning it into a target for the West's military operations.

Damascus fears that the new UN Resolution can practically "declare a war against Syria". This is what Syrian Ambassador to the UN Bashar Azhafari said at the Higher Assembly session after announcing that Europe had already unleashed a political and diplomatic war against Syria.

Amid all this, there are still rumors about Russia's intervention in defense of Bashar Asad's regime. Yesterday there was information that the Russian navy ships had entered the seas in Syria. According to the same source, military experts doubt that Moscow will be engaged in the war.

The Arabic Al-Arabia TV company has confirmed the entrance of Russian navy ships. According to the source, "Russian sailors have entered the eastern section of the Mediterranean Sea to gather confidential data".

According to DEBKAfile website, Bashar Asad's insiders have informed that the Russian ships won't throw an anchor in the harbor since they are not there to defend Asad, but to prevent "the attempts of foreign interferers of penetrating into Syria through the sea".
