Military doctor confessed
Support A1+!"The sole purpose of the Armenian Armed Forces is to recruit only healthy youth. There are some exceptions, but 5 cases at the most throughout the entire recruitment," Head of the Military Medicine Department of the Armed Forces, Colonel Artashes Parsadamyan said during a press conference today.
According to him, the soldiers' psychological disturbances that appear during military service are illnesses that have emerged beforeo service. Touching upon the case of soldier Hovhannes Vardanyan, the head of the department assured that the boy's recruitment was legitimate.
"Psychological disturbance is God's punishment that doesn't appear on the outside. Hovhannes's illness was one that nobody could figure out in advance. No signal or stress could have an impact on its development," Parsadamyan said.
He also touched upon the murder of Aghasi Abrahamyan on August 26 and Vardges Poghosyan, who was charged with the murder: Parsadamyan confessed: "It is a fact that the doctor hit the soldier, and as an experienced doctor, I say this with shame."
However, Artashes Parsadamyan assured that Armenia has so many doctors that are necessary for the army.
