Discussing compensation
The Ministry of Nature Protection and RobShin Company have established commissions to study the issue related to the company's compensation.
"We are still in the process of estimating," Director of RobShin Robert Okhanyan told "A1+".
We remind that RobShin had planned to build a hydro-electric station near Trchkan Waterfall, but decided to terminate construction after the government's licensing and under the pressure of environmentalists and civil society. The company was forced to dislocate its technical equipment from the area.
Robert Okhanyan told "A1+" that he he has spent a lot of money and complained that he had to be denied earlier and not stop in the middle of construction.
Trchkan Waterfall is included in the list of natural monuments as a water monument.
