Bako Sahakyan in New York
President of the Republic of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan had meetings with President of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) Berge Setrakian and members of the AGBU Central Committee in New York.
During the meeting, issues related ot the implementation of different projects in Artsakh were discussed.
President Sahakyan mentioned that the AGBU has had a tangible role in the development of our republic, and there is currently a need for the AGBU's support to different spheres of life in Artsakh. The head of state also underlined that it was necessary to convey a new quality to the organization's activities in Artsakh.
Among participants of the meeting were Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Parkev Martirosian, Primate of the U.S. Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Khazhak Barsamian, Armenian Ambassador to the U.S. Tatul Margaryan, RA Permanent Representative to the UN Karen Nazaryan, Head of the Central Department of Information of the NKR President's apparatus David Babayan, NKR Permanent Representative to the U.S. and Canada Robert Avetisyan and other offiicals.
