How can they speak of stability?
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan says the year 2012 will be important in that the budget deficit will go down to 3 percent. Presenting the 2012 state budget at the National Assembly today, the Prime Minister assured that incomes from the rich would be geared toward the poor, and social benefits would increase by 10 percent for 100,000 families.
"Heritage" Party MPs were discontent with the Prime Minister's speech and the indicators that he presented. They announced that high numbers were presented every year, but nothing was changing.
"How can we talk about stability when even the average pension of 31,000 drams for 2012 doesn't ensure the whole consumer basket, which is already 45,000 drams," MP Armen Martirosyan said.
The "Heritage" MPs were also discontent with the amendments made in the law "On Use of Cash Registers". According to the faction's secretary Larisa Alaverdyan, the law states one thing, but it is applied in a totally different way in real life. The MPs particularly spoke of the 200-300 drams that people pay guards and don't receive any receipt when parking their cars.
