Issue solved through donation
After many protests, the issue related to the half-built building located on Gevorg Chaush 14/3 has been partially solved.
The 22 residents of the building received their property certificates today from Esco Concern, which had been handed the 22 apartments in exchange of a pawn.
Let us remind that in 2007, the residents had signed contracts with Norashen 2007 cooperative. The cooperative's administration had taken a loan after construction, and in 2010 it was revealed that the company had formulated the residents' certificates in exchange of loan interest rates under other people's names. Currently, the heads of the cooperative are under arrest for counterfeit.
The happy residents voiced hope that the other 40 residents of the building would receive their property certificates as well; otherwise, the protests near Serzh Sargsyan's residence would continue.
The residents advise other businessmen to follow the example set by Head of Esco Concern Sargis Aghabekyan.
According to them, MP Hermine Naghdalyan has some of the property certificates.
