Allegations hinder police?
The Armenian police have issued a statement saying the recent reshuffle in the police ranks has stirred up numerous allegations and rumors which interfere with the ordinary routine of the system and influence on the morale of the team.
"The reshuffle is not an end in itself, rather, personnel changes are aimed at improving the efficiency of the system. The system operates transparently and publicly, providing reliable and comprehensive information about ongoing processes.
We urge media to contribute to the reforms in the police and to refrain from publishing information that does not correspond to reality," reads the statement.
