Armenian side controls situation
Violations increased at the line of contact between Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijani forces in October, with Azerbaijan firing 1350 shots in the direction of Karabakh positions. Over 200 shots were fired in the direction of Armenian positions from October 1 to 30.
According to the NKR Defense Army, Azerbaijan violated the truce about 1 150 times during the reporting period.
The Azerbaijani side fired more than 250 shots from different types of weapons, including sniper rifles.
The Armenian side is committed to maintaining the ceasefire regime and takes response actions only in case of extreme necessity. Armenian Armed Forces fully control the situation at the line of contact.
