To gather at Freedom Square
An economic forum will be held at Freedom Square within the framework of a civil forum on November 6.
Leader of "Freedom" Party, economist Hrant Bagratyan will present the Armenian National Congress's "100 Step" program for structural reforms in the country's economic policy. The platform was presented to the public early last year.
The main goal of the program is to make radical reforms in the economic system and create with the people's active involvement an economy with sustainable development.
"The redistribution of taxes from small and medium businesses to big business: the main principles of regulation and development of taxing and customs system should be (a) expansion of the taxing base, (b) elimination of shady economy, (c) promotion of enterprise, (d) reduction of taxing administration and equal distribution of taxes," as stated in the program.
We remind that the civil forum was formed during the ANC's round-the-clock rallies on October 2. This is the second meeting in the format of the forum after the end of the round-the-clock rallies on October 8.
