EBRD presents its new strategy
Armenia's Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received on Friday a delegation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) led by EBRD Vice-President Jan Fisher, who has arrived in Yerevan to determine EBRD priorities in Armenia.
Speaking about the main provisions of the new strategy of cooperation between Armenia and EBRD, Jan Fisher noted that the Bank attaches importance to the implementation of programs targeted at the development of small and medium-sized enterprises and the private sector.
The EBRD Vice-President highly appreciated the Armenian government's efforts to improve the business atmosphere. He thanked Tigran Sargsyan for heading the Council of Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, which speaks of the attention the government pays to the development of SMEs.
The Armenian premier hailed the cooperation between the EBRD and the Armenian Government, attaching importance to its continuation.
