“Regulatory Guillotine” to be applied
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan today attended the signing of a letter of intentions to raise the level of efficiency of Armenia's economic management through a regulatory guillotine between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and international donor organizations.
In the letter it is particularly stated: "This program will be an important step in our collaboration for reforms and will notably improve the regulatory sphere and the business environment in Armenia. We are certain that the collaboration with the donor consortium will support the efficiency of the process of reforms."
In the letter of intentions, the international donor organizations express willingness to support the introduction of the instrument for rapid reforms called the "Regulatory Guillotine" in the Republic of Armenia, which will provide the opportunity to update Armenia's regulatory policy, fundamentally improve the business environment, help reduce bureaucracy and raise the level of efficiency of management.
