Boat with 1,200 people being burnt
A boat with 1,200 people in it is burning on the Red Sea. The boat is currently located between the Akaba Harbor in Jordan and the Nubeybay Harbor in Egypt, Al-Ahram website reports.
Most of the people on board are citizens of Egypt, and it is still unclear what will happen to them.
Firefighters say the fire broke out at the part of the boat's storage.
The staff on the boat signaled a call for help and informed that the shipping department had been completely burnt.
Rescuers are trying to evacuate people.
